L’arthrose de la hanche
Osteoarthritis of the hip corresponds to mechanical wear of this joint. It is a deep joint, heavily stressed with mechanical constraints representing 5 times the weight of the body in monopodal support.
Wear can be aggravated by the patient's overload, by a structural anomaly or dysplasia, responsible for disharmonious functioning favoring deterioration of the hip.
In all cases, aging is the predominant factor.
